Gallery Three: Recovery Sucks (in a good way)
Climbing Out Recovery is the hardest work to do.  It is
gut-wrenching, mind twisting hard work.  It is
the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

But one of the things that I came to realize as
I searched for my own recovery was that
I found a sense of hope--of anticipation--
that just maybe
things would be better in the future.

This sense of hope didn't come at any one
moment or in a blinding flash of light.  It
came after years of work to recognize the
lies of the past, to deny those lies and to
grasp the truth of the future.
These images are about that hope for the
future.  I believe in a sense of rest, an
underlying peace in my head and my heart
that will happen to me one day.
