| JOSEPH’S JOURNAL Mathew 1:18-25 What am I supposed to do now? What am I supposed to say? Do I simply tell my friends I saw an angel today? No one will believe me. I’m not sure I believe it myself. Sometimes I think the task You’ve given was meant for someone else. ‘Cause when I think about a family and children in my life, a Messiah isn’t quite what I had in mind. Baby is starting to show now; people are starting to talk. We try telling them of our story but the gossip never stops. I can’t say that I blame them; it’s a story that’s just too bizarre. Sometimes I’d like to go somewhere where people don’t who we are. We made it as far as Bethlehem. Baby is on the way. The Son of God will soon be born in a stable filled with hay. Visitors came from everywhere; sent by God’s own hand. They all came to see the Savior and now I think I understand. |
