WITHOUT HIS LOVE
Isaiah 53
Oh, what manner of love is this?
How can He say He loves me?
After all I’ve done and the things I’ve said?
How can He say He forgives me?
See how I’ve mocked His name?
See how I’ve spat in His face?
I have crucified the Christ,
and yet He forgives me.
Oh, what manner of love is this?
Oh, what manner of love?

Oh, what manner of love?
I was going down for the last time with the chain around my neck.
The weight of the world had stopped me in my tracks,
and was dragging me down to my death.
I met a man with a key in His hands and he unlocked the chains I had.
He took my death upon His shoulders and nailed them to a tree.
Never have I seen such majesty!
Never have I known such love!
I have never heard of a man such as this.
I could never live without His love.
Without His love.
There I stood with my sins in my hands
with the devil accusing my life.
I don’t understand my own actions.
I can’t seem to do what I know is right.
Wretched man that I man that I am!
Who will save me from this body of death?
Surely the Man who took my guilt away.
In Jesus, there is no condemnation.
