Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

WINGS OF AN EAGLE
Isaiah 40:29-31

I am headed for a valley.  A storm is closing in.
The darkness has fallen and I can’t see,
But I have seen what God can do and I will not be afraid.
I know He’s walking right beside me.

So, I will wait upon the Lord.  He’ll renew my strength.
I shall rise above with the wings of an eagle.
I will run and not grow weary.  I will walk and never faint.
For the joy of the Lord is my strength.

So let the rain come down.  Let the cold winds blow.
I know He’ll keep me safe and sound.
I know this valley is not forever.  The storm will soon be gone
and I know He’s guiding me to my home.
